Algorn grew up a farmer with 6 generations before him. His father reminded him of this fact every time Algorn got out of line. So it was fate, or bad luck, that mid-summer day. Both of his parents, who were working in the fields, were killed. He had been in town selling grain too late to help them. He decides that this was his chance so he sold the farm and bought his adventuring gear. From there he joined a caravan as a guard. He found that he was quite good with a bow especially a bow that was as big as a man. He had earned the one he has now from a bandit who tried to rob his charge. After a few summers of steady work from the caravan, they started having trouble paying their employees. So recently he has decided to join a group of adventurers who seem to have others interests at heart.
